Abstract
The reaction of [Pt(hfacac)(2)] with 2-(ferrocenyl)-benzothiazoline af fords a novel trinuclear platinum(II) complex, which has six-membered Pt3S3 ring with thiolate bridging, and three cyclometallated ferroceny l groups have a less-symmetrical configuration.
