Abstract
Replacement of an alkyne moiety of zirconacyclopentadienes via beta,be ta'-carbon-carbon bond cleavage was highly dependent on their substitu ents, Complete differentiation between diphenylacetylene and 4-octyne in the reaction with butyronitrile was demonstrated.
