Abstract
The O- and C-germatranyl derivatives of the esters of acetic acid have been obtained by the action of alkoxygermatranes with bis(trifluorome thyl)ketene and diphenylketene. The C-isomers have also been obtained in high yields by the action of methyl (trichlorogermyl) acetate and m ethyl (trichlorogermyl)(diphenyl)acetate with tris(2-triethylstannoxye thyl)amine.
