Abstract
Some metal complexes of 8-hydroxyquinoline-7-carboxaldene amino acids with dioxouranium(VI), lanthanum(III), mercury(II) and lead(II) have b een prepared and characterized by elemental analyses, IR, UV-vis. spec tra as well as molar conductivity measurements. It is found that the S chiff base ligands behave as dibasic ONO tridentate for all the chelat es.
