Be. Robinson et L. Kelley, CONCURRENT VALIDITY OF THE BECK DEPRESSION INVENTORY AS A MEASURE OF DEPRESSION, Psychological reports, 79(3), 1996, pp. 929-930
The Beck Depression Inventory was administered, along with measures of
anxiety, locus of control, and self-concept, to 211 undergraduates al
a major southern institution to rest for concurrent validity. Correla
tions of scores on Beck's scale with other scores provide additional s
upport for Beck's scale as a valid measure of depression.
