A method to forecast the amount of nonfrozen moisture within the inter
val ''natural moisture capacity-monosorption moisture'' has been propo
sed. The desorption isotherms are used, which may be obtained by posit
ive temperatures; white, in case of high moisture content, the moistur
e potential values changes may be helpful; they can be obtained by moi
sture potentiometry and microtensiometry. The method has been tested,
limits of the ratios proposed have been determined. The calculated reg
ularities were correlated with experimental data. The applied aspects
of the method have been considered.
