Abstract
Fluoroquinolones (FQs) have a proven record in adults against a wide r ange of organisms, but their use in children has been restricted becau se of the potential for causing damage to joints. Accumulated evidence suggests that FQs are effective, well tolerated and do not cause arth ropathy in children.
