Abstract
The synthesis of enantiomerically pure RPR 111905 was achieved in twel ve steps with an overall yield of 6.9%. The synthetic strategy was bas ed on a Diels-Alder reaction to generate the bicyclic framework and th e asymmetry was introduced by resolution. Copyright (C) 1996 Elsevier Science Ltd
