Abstract
The physical basis of the electrohydrodynamic (EHD) enhancement of two -phase heat transfer is briefly described in this work. A literature r eview of previous relevant work is then presented with a discussion of the various enhancement mechanisms in different regimes. The relevanc e and potential of EHD enhancement to refrigeration systems are evalua ted. Copyright (C) 1996 Elsevier Science Ltd.
