Abstract
We study an example of spreading driven by surface tension gradients, i.e. the climbing of a film on a plane wall against gravity. We show w hich parameters control the thickness of the film. Moreover, we presen t a theoretical and experimental study of the crossover between the fi lm and the macroscopic reservoir.
