Using a combination of collisional and laser excitation autoionizing R
ydberg states of the configurations Ag I 4d(9) 5snd were populated. St
arting from the metastable state 4d(9) 5s5p F-4(9/2) we could identify
56 transitions to states with J = 7/2, 9/2 and 11/2. The classificati
on of these states and the analysis of several perturbations within th
e series and with states of the configuration 4d(9) 5p(2) were perform
ed with the help of Hartree-Fock-calculations using the Cowan code.
