Av. Kuzmin et al., IR AND MICROWAVE SEA-SURFACE OBSERVATIONS UNDER CALM WEATHER CONDITIONS, Izvestia Akademii nauk. Rossijskaa akademia nauk. Fizika atmosfery iokeana, 30(6), 1994, pp. 825-828
The results of experimental study of relationships between sea surface
temperature variation and surface wave intensity are presented. The j
oint analysis of airborne IR and microwave radiometric measurements in
the Kamchatka peninsula region demonstrated a high correlation betwee
n natural slicks location and higher surface temperature under calm we
ather conditions.
