Results of special processing of large-scale sea surface photoimages a
nd movies obtained during the field experiment in the Pacific and Casp
ian Sea for wind velocities from 7.7 to 13.5 m/s are presented. It was
shown experimentally that temporal evolution of foam structures has e
xponential character. New specific group of sea waves breaking, named
microbreaking, was detected.
