Abstract
Single crystals of PrBa2CusO7-delta containing small amounts of Mg wer e successfully fabricated by the improved crystal pulling method (SRL- CP method) using MgO crucibles. The melt temperature was between 965 d egrees C and 970 degrees C. No MgO inclusion was observed by electron probe micro analysis (EPMA). The lattice constants of the grown crysta l are a=3.907(1)Angstrom, b=11.768(1)Angstrom, V=176.6(1)Angstrom(3). The Mg contamination from MgO crucible was relatively small with a com position of Pr1.00Ba2.00Cu2.94O6.72Mg0.06 analyzed by 4-circle single crystal diffractometer.
