Nano-composite of Ba2YCu3O7-y-Ag superconductor was synthesized by the
hot isostatic pressing (HIP) of the hyblid powder derived from chemic
al and mechanical process. Magnetic flux pinning property was enhanced
by the microstructure control. Post heattreatment of the HIPed body a
t optimum temperature range, under the temperature gradient condition
and the joining to the single crystal promoted the unidirectional grai
n growth which eliminated the weak link.
