Abstract
A sintering procedure was optimised for preparing YBa2Cu3O6+delta cera mics suitable for APFIM. The sintering temperature had a strong influe nce on the density and phase purity of the ceramics. Annealing of the ceramics improved their properties. The success in APFIM analysis allo ws us to extend our study towards detecting an oxygen ordering, and an indication of such an ordering on a nanometer scale was observed.
