Abstract
Superconducting BSCCO whiskers with Tc values between 60 and 90K have been grown from amorphous 2212 plates doped by own cations (Ca,Cu) and flux agents (Pb,Li) in an oxygen stream. The growth rate was varied b etween 0.005 and 0.1 mm/h in dependence on the experimental conditions . The highest critical current density Jc approximate to 2x10(5)A/cm(2 ) (77K, H=0) was achieved for whiskers from 2235 plates.
