CRYSTALLIZATION PROCESS, PHASE CHEMISTRY AND TRANSPORT-PROPERTIES OF SUPERCONDUCTING FIBERS PREPARED BY THE LFZ METHOD FOLLOWED BY ISOTHERMAL ANNEALING
Fm. Costa et al., CRYSTALLIZATION PROCESS, PHASE CHEMISTRY AND TRANSPORT-PROPERTIES OF SUPERCONDUCTING FIBERS PREPARED BY THE LFZ METHOD FOLLOWED BY ISOTHERMAL ANNEALING, Physica. C, Superconductivity, 235, 1994, pp. 513-514
The relationships between the crystallization mechanism of phases soli
difying from the melt, the phase equilibria, the morphology and chemic
al composition was investigated in order to establish the influence of
the growth rate on the HTC superconductor structure and transport pro
perties. Fibers grown with highest pulling rate having higher J(c). Th
e J(c) is maximum after annealing at 830 degrees C during 24h. Fibers
annealed at 870 degrees C exhibit an onset T-c of 110K.
