B. Vengalis et al., FORMATION OF HIGH-QUALITY THIN 2212-PHASE FILMS FROM BIO1.5-SRO-CAO-CU MULTILAYERS, Physica. C, Superconductivity, 235, 1994, pp. 699-700
Highly c-axes oriented 2212-phase films have been synthesized from the
BiO1.5-CuO-(SrO,CaO) multilayers and uniform magnetron sputtered amor
phous Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O precursors using postannealing in air at (700 divi
ded by 850)degrees C. In situ high temperature XRD studies have been c
arried out to elucidate mechanisms and kinetics of the two-layer phase
formation. High crystalline quality of the 2212-phase films formed fr
om the multilayers we associate with accelarated two-layer phase growt
h in presence of fugitive liquid and intermediate Bi and Sr oxyde base
d solid solution [1].
