Abstract
No generally accepted rules are as yet existing in industry for the qu ality assurance with components. Various test methods and company stan dards of producers and processors are still complicating a standardize d quality assurance with fibre reinforced plastics. The industry conce rned often considers the DIN/ISO series 9000 as inflexible and excessi vely formalized. The visit to sixteen companies of this industry was i ntended to elucidate the achievements so far made and the problems sti ll to be solved.
