Abstract
The numerical approximation of the biharmonic problem based on the mix ed method given by Ciarlet-Raviart induces error estimates gf oi der O (h(k-1)), for k greater than or equal to 2. The algorithm proposed in this paper converges even for greater than or equal to 1, without any regularity condition on omega or psi. We have an error estimate of or der O(h(k)). Furthermore, the conjugate gradient method proposed by Gl owinski-Pironneau can be used.
