Abstract
Deprotonation of 2-(trialkylsilyl) -5-methylthiophenetricarbonylchromi um(0) complexes 8a-e with Bu(t)Li resulted in intermolecular silyl tra nsfer reactions which generated, inter alia, yl-3(trialkylsilyl)thioph enetricarbonylchromium(0) 9 and kylsilyl)-2-methylthiophenetricarbonyl chromium(0). The bulky silanes 8d, a were stable under these condition s.
