Abstract
The theory of many-body systems constitutes one of the most complex pa rt of quantum mechanics. Closed results are not readily available and approximations become extremely involved. It is, therefore, of conside rable interest that the quantization of certain simple collective moti ons of particles can describe the energies of atoms, nuclei and partic le models rather well. We describe here the most elementary examples o f such structures.
