Abstract
The superconducting and structural properties of Li1-xTi2O4. single cr ystals are studied at low temperature by x-ray diffraction and SQUID m agnetometry. We show that Tc is directly related to Li stoichiometry a nd Ti valence. We show that the structure cannot withstand high Li def iciencies without Ti network disorder.
