Abstract
Hg-Ba-Ca-Cu-oxide superconductors are investigated by high resolution transmission electron microscopy. The specimens contain pure phases as well as a complicated stacking of the members of the series: Hg-1212, Hg-1223, Hg-1234 and Hg-1245. The special structural features of thes e layered structures in the Hg-Ba-Ca-Cu-oxide system are described in detail.
