Abstract
We find that although T-c of Bi2Sr2Ca(Cu1-xCox)(2)O-y (0 less than or equal to x less than or equal to 0.1) samples decreases monotonously w ith increase of x, it increases by 10-30 K upon annealing in vacuum. I nverse photoemission spectroscopy (IPES) result indicates that the int ensity of unoccupied 0 2p states at Fermi level for the samples is dec reased upon annealing. Roles of annealing and CO substitution in the s amples are discussed.
