Abstract
Microstructural investigations and magnetic measurements of differentl y prepared Tl2223 ceramics are reported. The best sample shows high qu ality grain boundaries and grains. The critical current density of the grains remains large up to temperatures near to the irreversibility l ine, which is closer to T-c than normally found in such compounds.
