Abstract
Single crystals of YBa2CU3O6.3 have been measured by mu-Raman techniqu e in the spectral range of Ramanshifts up to leV in all different pola rization geometries. Contributions of the spectrometer to the wide ran ge spectra have been quantitatively determined. The resonant behavior of the two magnon scattering was investigated in B-1g symmetry and no significant change in comparison to the undoped material was found. Th e intermediate state of the 2-magnon-Raman process is assumed as an ox ygen 2p hole state as well for undoped and lightly doped materials.
