Abstract
The scattering of light by conduction electrons in osmium, which has a n anisotropic Fermi surface (FS), has been studied in the normal state . The electronic continuum was found to show a significant redistribut ion of states below 100 K, which is correlated with E(2g) phonon self- energy anomalies in the same temperature range.
