F-concentration dependence of phonon spectra for Nd(2)CuO(4-x)F(x)has
been measured by Raman scattering at room temperature. With increasing
x, the energy of the Eg mode at about 480 cm(-1) decreases, while tho
se of are almost constant. The result concludes that the doped F ion i
s the A(1g) and B-1g modes at 220 and 330 cm(-1) substituted to the ox
ygen position in the R-O layers. The symmetry-forbidden mode, observed
in the Ce-doped system at about 600 cm(-1), has not been observed for
Nd2CuO4-xFx.
