Single crystals of PrxY1-xBa2Cu3O7-delta (PYBC) were prepared with a s
elf-flux-method. The chemical composition was determined by energy dis
persive x-ray analysis (EDX) in an electron microscope. The temperatur
e dependence of the electrical resistivity was measured in the a,b-pla
ne and in c-direction of the anisotropic crystals. The reflectivity of
the a,b-plane at room temperature was measured in an infrared microsc
ope and the energy dependence of the optical constants determined by t
he Kramers-Kronig calculation.
