Tw. Clinton et al., MIXED-STATE TRANSPORT-PROPERTIES OF ANISOTROPIC SUPERCONDUCTORS IN ANOBLIQUE FIELD, Physica. C, Superconductivity, 235, 1994, pp. 1375-1376
The mixed-state in-plane magnetoresistance r(xx) and Hall resistance r
(xy) have been investigated for highly anisotropic Tl2Ba2CaCu2O8 (T122
12) and Nd1.85Ce0.15CuO4 (NCCO). To observe the effects of anisotropy
we employ an experimental geometry where the magnetic field can be rot
ated by an angle theta off the c-axis while keeping the field perpendi
cular to the current direction. For both T12212 and NCCO we find that,
over a wide angular range, only vortex segments parallel to the c-axi
s are contributing to the measured dissipation and Hall effect. These
results are in agreement with an anisotropic-mass model.
