Abstract
We report in-plane and c-axis electrical magnetoresistivity measuremen ts on L(2-x)Ce(x)CuO(4) (L=Pr, Sm, Nd) superconducting single crystals . In the normal state, both resistivities display a minimum (T-min) wh ich separates regions of metallic (T>T-min) from semiconducting-like b ehavior (T<T-min). At T<T-min, it is found that rho(ab)(T) has a logar ithmic temperature dependence and it is argued that it reflects 2D loc alization effects; in contrast, rho(c)(T) can be described in terms of a hopping conductivity.
