Abstract
Magnetoresistance of high quality epitaxial Bi2Sr2CuOy thin films has been measured for temperatures below T-c (1.5K<T<T-c) at different ori entations with respect to the CuO2 planes of the applied magnetic fiel d H (up to 20T). The results show that the dissipation does not depend uniquely on the transverse component of the magnetic field as it is t he case in the strongly anisotropic Bi2Sr2CaCu2Oy phase. The behavior with the magnetic field perpendicular to the CuO2 planes is briefly di scussed.
