Abstract
We have investigated the magnetic susceptibility at atmospheric pressu re for the (Y-1-xPr(x))(2)Ba4Cu7O(15-delta) system with x=0.1-0.6 and that at high pressure for the sample with x=0.6. The effective moment per Pr ion obtained by the Curie-Weiss fitting is an intermediate valu e between that expected for Pr3+ and that for Pr4+. It was found that the magnetic state of Pr ion is scarcely affected by pressure.
