Resistance-temperature and current-voltage characteristics in BaKBiO3
single crystals are examined near Tc. The Tc shift at various currents
is compared with that reported for applied magnetic fields. The resis
tance initial rise follows the Arrhenius plot with activation energies
of the order of 10 meV. The comparison of the I-V characteristics wit
h those obtained in cuprates compounds indicates tile influence of the
dimensionality and supports the validity of bidimensional model for l
ayered superconductors.
