Abstract
As a result of the large range of technically usable mineral fibres an d their varied action profiles, a differentiating approach is necessar y to assess the carcinogenic potencies of the different products. In o rder to avoid animal tests, in vitro tests were developed to contribut e to the solution of the above problem.
