Abstract
The observation of the Kerr effect of the YBCO film at 77-100 K and th e room temperature is reported. It is found that the effect is very we ak even near the critical temperature. This result is consistent with that of the magnetic circular dichroism measurement by other authors w ith a He-Ne laser.
