Abstract
Penetrations depth is measured in YBa2(Cu1-xZnx)(3)O-7 and YBa2(Cu1-yN iy)(3)O-7-x oriented powders by Muon Spin Rotation. The observed aniso tropy in the effective mass tenser and the relation between T-c and th e mu SR damping sigma point to the existence of additional contributio ns to the depression of the superconductivity that cannot be accounted for in simple terms of carrier concentration.
