Abstract
We report a microwave and cross-sectional TEM/SAED study of the effect of deposition conditions on the interface properties of Ag/(001) and (103) oriented YBCO bilayer films. The bilayers were deposited in-situ with a two step large area laser ablation process on (001) LaAlO3 and (110) SrTiO3. Surprisingly large differences in R(s) values of layere d films with the same nominal thickness but with different process par ameters are explained and the possibility of proximity effect for both c-axis and (110) oriented films is discussed.
