Ed. Gutliansky et Tv. Kolesnikova, THE INTERACTION OF ULTRASONIC-WAVES WITH VORTEX STRUCTURE IN THE TAFFREGION OF HIGH-TEMPERATURE SUPERCONDUCTORS, Physica. C, Superconductivity, 235, 1994, pp. 2078-2079
It is shown that in a superconductor, positioned in the external magne
tic field, the passing ultrasonic wave causes the induction supercondu
ctive currents, which leads to the additional interaction, apart from
the pinning forces, of the ultrasonic wave with the superconductor vor
tex structure. It is demonstrated how this interaction results in a mo
dified behavior of ultrasonic attenuation and dispersion, if the vorte
x dynamics is assumed to be described by thermally assisted flux flow.
The attenuation coefficient and the shift of ultrasonic wave velocity
are expressed in terms of DC resistance and elasticity moduli of flux
lattice.
