Mv. Eremin et E. Sigmund, EFFECT OF ANISOTROPIC SPIN-SPIN COUPLING OF COPPER AND OXYGEN HOLES IN SPIN-POLARIZED CLUSTERS, Physica. C, Superconductivity, 235, 1994, pp. 2189-2190
Two types of spin-polarized clusters confining the motion of oxygen ho
les in layered cuprates ace discussed. The first one containing five c
opper sites has a total spin S = 2, whereas most essential elements of
the second one are four coppers and it is characterised by S = 3/2. A
nisotropic exchange coupling splits the magnetic ground state into a s
equence of state, which in a natural way provide e.g. an explanation o
f EPR data for La2CuO4+delta compounds.
