Ev. Pechen et al., TUNNELING AND CRITICAL-MAGNETIC-FIELD STUDY OF SUPERCONDUCTING NBC THIN-FILMS, Physica. C, Superconductivity, 235, 1994, pp. 2511-2512
Electronic characteristics and superconducting-state parameters of NbC
thin films prepared by reactive laser beam deposition were studied by
tunneling and critical-magnetic-field measurements. For the first tim
e these investigations were made for NbC samples of practically perfec
t stoichiometric chemical composition and crystal structure. This comp
ound with low-temperature normal resistivity of 4.6 mu Omegacm and cr
itical temperature of 12 K was found to be a clean superconductor (1 =
36nm, xi(0) = 23 nm) characterized by an intermediate type of electr
on-phonon interaction (lambda = 0.91).
