Abstract
We report on the critical currents of amorphous superconducting/insula ting Mo77Ge23/Ge multilayers in magnetic fields applied at various ang les with respect to the superconducting layers. Multilayers with diffe rent insulating thicknesses have been measured. We demonstrate the exi stence of a threshold field below which the critical current is govern ed only by the perpendicular component of the applied field. Also, we observe that there exists a critical angle that separates two differen t regimes of pinning. Both features depend on the insulating thickness of the multilayers.
