Abstract
The pressure dependence of Te has been studied for new quaternary supe rconductors LuNi2B2C, YNi2B2C and YPd5B3C0.3. Despite that LuNi2B2C wi th smaller lanthanide radius has higher Te than YPd5B3C0.3, applicatio n of pressure is found to suppress Tc. The suppression of Te is sugges ted to be intimately connected with the contraction along c-axis. The dTc/dP-Tc plot suggests that these new superconductors are rather conv entional.
