Abstract
A study of flux-line dimensionality on untwinned YBa2Cu3O7.delta and B i2Sr2CaCu2O8 is presented. The type of penetration of a transverse mag netic component into a pre-existing longitudinal vortex assembly permi ts to determine whether its character is dominantly 2D or 3D.
