Abstract
We report results of Monte Carlo simulations of vortex lines subject t o a pinning potential in an anisotropic superconductor, in the presenc e of vortex loops parallel to the ab-planes, which tend to screen inte ractions between vortices. We show the influence of these vortex loops on the melting of the disordered lattice.
