Abstract
Magnetization studies have been carried out on single Pb films with a square lattice of submicrometer holes. These submicrometer hole patter ns create the possibility to trap an integer number, as well as a cert ain rational number of flux lines per hole corresponding to a regular organization of flux lines inside the structure. The stable flux line configurations lead to the appearance of sharp peaks in the magnetizat ion M(H-perpendicular to).
