Abstract
Parallel-arrayed HoBa2Cu3Ox (HBCO) nanobridges are fabricated and thei
r critical-current characteristics are investigated. Dependence of the
critical-current density on temperature does not differ among bridges
having different widths. No weak link behavior is observed under micr
owave irradiation and a magnetic field, even for a sample as small as
0.1 mu m wide and 12 nm thick. The critical-current density is found t
o be limited by flux creep as in much wider HBCO thin films. Therefore
, it may be possible to apply HBCO thin films to nanometer-scale super
conducting wiring without any problems caused by weak link behavior.
