Abstract
A mathematical model is presented for the acceleration and heating of spherical fine particles in a high-temperature supersonic gas stream g enerator. The effect of the thermodynamic parameters of the gas stream on fine particle velocity and temperature is demonstrated. The main p roperties of nichrome and tungsten carbide coatings prepared by a 'Str uya' device are described.
